Hammed Malik Opeyemi, aka Horpy J, who was born on October 24, 1996 is a burgeoning artist hailing from Oyo state.
He is a person with a versatile musical style spanning various genres, he embarked on his musical journey in 2014.
Horpy J made an impactful debut with his first track, “Ijo Ebola,” in 2015 showcasing his dynamic talent and promising trajectory in the music scene.
Hammed Malik, known as Horpy J, attended L.A Primary School in Isale Oyo, Oyo town, and continued his education at ADS Grammar School in the same location.
Graduating in Computer Science from Ibadan City Polytechnic, he adopted the stage name Horpy J during his secondary school days, creatively derived from his given name ‘Opeyemi.’
His educational background and musical evolution contribute to his unique artistic identity.
Horpy J made waves in 2022 with his debut EP album “GOAD,” featuring 6 tracks. The following year, he further solidified his presence in the music scene by releasing the album “Get Up and Go” in 2023, boasting 14 tracks.
The album showcased collaborations with talented artists such as Mascara Vibez, Petexter, Kimma Baby, Shine G, King Krizz, and Oluwa Lash.
